Cleator Moor

I have never driven to Cleator before so this was all a bit of an adventure for me. Then I drove past the turning that lead to my frined's house. It is very big; where she is now living with her new partner, Dan. Dan has two dogs and Elizabeth two cats. They took me a walk around a nearby pond. The town is dominated by Dent fell - part of the coast-to-coast walk passes through here. This area reminded me of the back of Skiddaw; wild and remote walking leading to the high moors at the back of Lamplugh before the Lake District proper begins again at Loweswater. I had a really good day and am looking forward to visiting them again.
