Visitors
Friends & Family
On Monday my friend Shelia visited me. Lots of natter and a quick trot along the old railway path between showers.
Friday night brought Marcus' parents. We went for a meal at the local Chinese and on Saturday for a circular drive: Borrowdale, Honister, Buttermere, Crummock and Whinlatter. We had planned a short walk around Stonethwaite but guess what happened as soon as we stepped outside the car?

Wet, wet, wet
Walks ?
Does it ever stop raining? Well yes - usually whilst I am working. Actually managed to get out for two short walks last weel - both wet. It is good to be living close to the lake again.

TABI
Saturday, 2nd October
TABI
No, not a cat but: the Tarot Association of the British Isles, to which I have now become an endorsed member. A small group of members from the North and one from Scotland met us for lunch and then we took them to our stone circle at Castlerigg. This is a beautiful place surrounded by fells. I brought my son here to name him when he was a few months old.
A pot of tea back home followed by a short walk along the river. Chinese meal later where I was introduced by Pops to saki and discovered, quite unexpectedly, that I liked it. Small party back home.
TABI offers free on-line readings of a high standard - click here for details: TABI

Float on a boat
Friday, 1st October
I adopted Pops about fifteen years ago and we have reained good friends ever since. He arrived yesterday - at the wrong bus stop - and today I took him out. Weather not good for, 'people who are recovering from major surgery' to walk, so we took a boat trip round the lake.
